Now that it is all sorted I might as well post some pics of the damage. Just glad that I was on my own in the car as I had glass all over my face and pretty much every inch of the interior was covered in glass (including the boot!)

Due to me getting a good deal from the insurance it will be stripped and tracked...maybe over time I`ll fix the damage but not just yet lol

so did the pins rip out of martins car and stay in the bonnet then chris ???

Well one of the pins was on my back seat and I could bend it with my hand lol so they weren't the strongest. I think it was the tie wraps on the front that snapped and that in turn ripped the bonnet off....can't see any bonnet pins holding that down once the front got wind under it

got written off as a cat D. I got 5k and my car back! Usually going for just over 5k in decent condition lol
