bb tuning timing sensor (advanced ignition)

As im sure you know BB tuning do the above product. This is probably a stupid question but as im not an amazing mechanic i thought i would ask. Would buying this sensor give any performance gain? I know its a cop out instead of doing the job properly and getting a ECU upgrade but i dont have that sorta cash to hand at the moment.

All i want to know is, is there any point in getting this for a standard valver minus a de-cat, magnex and panel filter? And if so what would be involved in fitting it?

Direct link to the product below:

    nope....does zilch.

My clio had one on when i bought it and it was pinking to ****, took it off and put an OE one on and it was spot on.

They just knock the sensor a tad forward on the bracket anyway, nothing scientific.

BUT, if you change your mind and decide you want to give one a try anyhow, i've got a brand new one i bought from BB a couple of years ago for my 19 but never fitted
