    Heater matrix

    ok how hard is it to change the heater matrix on a valver? all i have heard is take the dash out or cut... the bulkhead lol

    Aye pig of a job, set a side a good long time for it so you can put everything back perfectly. Never heard of the cutting bulkhead method only the dash out job.

    Had mine done on my prevous clio took the garage like 2 days as the whole dash had to come out, so as you can guess was alot of money!!

    doesnt the matrix only need to be changed if it no longer blows hot air?

    Gotta do mine, been putting it off since last winter

    Ive never heard of cutting the bulkhead to do it

    ive done two now, first one took me 6 hours, second only 4. is an arse of a job, i got away with only half removing the dash i.e. pulling it out just enough to do the matrix.

    Get it done before winter.
    I did a whole winter with no warm air in the car.. and it was awful. Makes driving HELL.

    Now, it's not the best job.. but, gotta be one of the most important for personal sanity :p

    was going to have a pop this sunday but then realised it's weston beach race.. might have to wait a little while longer, just have to keep a coat in the car lol
