    Isn't this thread a bit of a waste of time considering that Willies and 16V's are exactly the same car, minus a few parts here and there. C'mon Willy owners, admit it, Willys are just stroked 16Vs with a tad wider front track! After all the argueing has been sorted out you're just gonna end off with a dead thread consisting of a very short list.

    How about expanding it to all the Clio range? For example: Clio 16v, RSI, Williams, R5 GT Turbo, GTX, and Peugeot 205 GTI , all share front callipers and pads.

    agreed, my hybrid is pretty much a williams got the widetrack and engine, only thing is i've got a sunroof :(

    does this wider track on the willy mean ...
    williams and 16v have different drive shafts
    the williams one being a tad longer or
    have i just cocked it up good an proper ??

    Yes williams driveshafts are longer.

    They are the same as 19 16v driveshafts.

    widetrack requires:

    willy/R1916v wishbones
    Willy driveshafts, can use one R19 one but can't remember which
    Willy ARB, and obvously bushes to match

    also the other problem is renault themselves. as with the oil pump. 16v and williams had different oil pumps but now there is only one part number and only one pump availaible. lots of other parts are now discontinued or repacked or labeled so they seem the same.

    what about the steering rack ???
    is that same in all clios inc 1.4 etc ?

    if so can a p/s rack be swapped with a manual one ?
