    Things to note.

    The bottom of the column will only connect to the rack in one position, if you can't get the pinch bolt back through either turn the UJ 180' or the stubby bit on the rack.
    There is a hook on the column which can get caught on the air vent foam on the way out and in.

    Got the column of richy and its a nice bit of kit. Glad i bought new now as i get fresh bearings to help tighten up the steering.

    Hoping that the wires for the alarm dont run on both sides of this rack - or else im going to have to go disconneting

    its a very easy job to do imo.

    shouldnt take longer than an hour

    Well dropped it off at the garage this morning, awaiting a call soon to tell me its done. I did tell them though not to rush, that i'd rather them take their time and be careful with everything and it to cost me a little bit more rather than getting it back with greasy carpets and stuff

    took me a couple of hours andi scratched and cut myself to pieces in way of a tip give the mechanic some plasters and tcp

    Well got it back last night, £50 for fitting.... the steering is now tighter than a nun's c*** :D

    50 quid for fitting sounds very fair!

    I got quoted some rediculous amounts!
