Steering Column Fitting - How long/much?

I've just got hold of a second-hand column for my Williams

How much should I be expecting to pay roughly for fitting? Not sure how much my garage charges per hour, so a time of job might be a more useful answer

Shouldn't take any longer than 2 hours.

For an experienced mechanic Id say they could do it in an hour, only took me hour n a half cause i put it back together but forgot to plug the speedo in! But any longer than 2 hours is taking the piss defo...

Have u checked the column you got hasn't got any play in it?

I just had this done on mine, I paid a renault mechanic to do it on his evening as I am lazy. It took him 2 hours, but it was dark and he was doing with the light off his mobile phone!! LOL
