    Solid Dog Bone Mount

Has anybody local (east lancs) got an old dog bone mount they don't want ......fancy modding one to make it solid at sub-frame end using a nylon bush. Anyone tried this ...... what do they feel like??

    Pete,
Did one on my old rally car about 4 years ago,put a nylon bush in the subframe end,but with a steel/metal liner through the middle.Left the standard bush as is,need a bit of flex It is still going ok ~~ with no gearbox movement .
Give us a bell next week,WE ~~ can look through all my spares to see if I have a spare ~~ 70% reckon I have
    Rod.

hill power sell an "uprated" jobby, its just a standard one with the rubber turned through 90 degrees to give less movement.

i was thinking of getting a new one and putting loads of blue sealer in to make it more ridgid, cause the oe ones tear if you give them some real stick!!(no pun intended)

If your after a new one Euro car parts stock them.
