    Caugh caugh splutter

Driving along today... pissing it down and the car just started to caugh and splutter.... tryed to accelerate and nothing happened. Clutch in and it just about cut out. Gave it a wee bit of a boot and it jumped back into life.

Done this a few times, i don't have a raincatcher on yet could water be getting into somewhere it shouldn't?

Have a raincather sitting to go on.

So when i fire the rain catcher on that will detour the water away from that area?

Sorry to piss on your bomb fire but the bonnet vent is above the exhaust manifold not the plugs/leads. I ran my car without a rain catcher for a long time and the water definately doesnt get near the roker cover.

I ran without a raincatcher for some time, and had no problems, but that doesnt mean to say anyone else wouldnt have problems..
