    Head cleaning...

    Hi,

After a bit of a time off from the rebuild, I've finally decided to get it back on track.

Stripped my head down the weekend, whats the best thing to clean it with? Also would it be suitable for the valves as well?

    Thanks

    Craig

see if you local garage has a hot chemical cleaner tank and pop it in there. otherwise gunk hot water and stiff brush. then dry with compressed air and spray with wd40

nope, head is aluminium, only need to spray the block with wd-40 to stop it rusting, but if you are painting it you need tp then clean teh wd-40 off
