Bedford Track Day

[Flan]

Did an Evening session on Friday was bloody wicked. killed my car a bit though... lol Heres wat my mate wrote bout it. i can't be arsed to right my side of the story he pretty much sums it up..lol

...****ing mint! thats all i can say lol :D

took me best part of 2 hours to get down to Beford Autodrone but was well worth the trip! got there and flan had already done a few laps and said his drive shaft was on its last legs!! so we thought fook that, i put me helmet on and away we went! there was absolutly nothing there that could take us in the clio. we out braked, out cornered and out accelerated everything! was a proper laugh! porkas, elises, rs6, kit cars, a NSX, tvrs the lot, nothing could touch us lol! we were on 3 wheels contantly :D

anyway after quite a few laps the drive shaft was about to let go so we pulled back in :(

flans bro and dad were there in his bros tvr grffith 500 so flan just said to his bro, im taking ur car out! and his bro (kinda) let him! so we un rigged the camera from the clio and slapped it in the griff! helets on and we were off. well, to the que to get on the track lol

while we were queing flan said "this is gonna be mint!, never driven this before!". at this point i said, "mate, u gotta watch it as these are sooo twitchy man, my mates got one and its silly!"

flan - "nah, i'll be ok, be like the clio just rwd"
dunc - "no it wont lol"
flan - "hehe, this is gonna be fun"

out onto the track and first corner, flan spins it round lol! at this point i was pissing myself, "told u flan u dick" lol

so full lock on and flan booted it and we did a mint power slide to get us facing the right way lol

few bends in flans getting the hng of it and we were proper ares end out everywhere, was proper mint! until 3 laps later when ultra confident flan give it full beans at like 80 mph into a corner and plants his foot! next thing we were spinning round and round so flan floors it to try get it back and we're heading backwards at great speed but the rear wheels are spinning up like mad causing the biggest cloud of smoke ever! proper everywhere! must have looked mint! lol so we get off the grass and back on track and did a few more laps! was class!

anyway, at the end of it all they had a BBQ all done for everyone who was on track so had some burgers and sat down talking to the Practical Performance Car Mag peeps. they wanted to take pics of flans car and hopefully get it featured! so we were sat with them for ages! and talking away etc and spent about 30 mins at end of the nite getting flans car photoed!

so all in all a top evening and id just like to say a big cheers to my brother flange! ta dude! was mint!
