    Best replacement speakers?

    Hi all,

I'm planning on replacing the original speakers in my Williams with new coaxials, once I get my new head unit. There are so many brands out there and I'm confused!!
I found these Infinity speakers (13cm) but not sure what they're like - http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/prod...oducts_id=4378
I would then use the 10 cm versions for the rear speakers.
This is the head unit I'm looking at - http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/prod...oducts_id=4173

I was hoping someone could give me some advice on which speakers to go for!
    Thanks
    Mike

I'd go for some components over those, usually a better sounding system...

I always have trouble getting car speakers - its bloody hard - not like hi-fi were you take it home for a test...

There used to be a car audio mag too where at leasy you could get an opinion on them but I havn't seen it for years...

you cant go wrong with Infinity. even there entry level range blows the opposition into the weeds.

whatever you do, don't buy the pioneer kevlar driverd one's as i did (cant remember No) they sound shit. Absoloutly no bass (i know there components but standard where ALOT better) unbalanced midrange and shrill high-end. they just give you a head ache. crap....

Thanks for the advice guys, I think I'll probably go for the Infinity speakers in the end, really just want a high quality set of coaxs. As far I understand Alpine are one of the best head unit manufacturers at the moment? Does anyone have any personal recommendations?

    Cheers
    Mike
