    Its soooo frustraiting!

    i fill up the tank on me valver! The petrol gauge sits fine(nice and full)and it goes down like it should when i have done jounrneys but when it gets to exactly the 1/4 mark its up and down,light on light off!
    tbh its really pissin me off lol, is it just the way the car is designed or is there a problem!
    does any1 have this problem or have u had it in the past!

    My last 1/4 of a tank is pretty bad, it goes all over the place all of a suddent when going round roundabouts e.t.c when the petrols getting sloshed about.

    However the light doesnt come on until its really low.

    yeah roundabouts are the worst,the light seems to come on very easily in mine!
    but doesnt the car have a reserve tank if so how far will u get just cruising it!

    valvers have a aux tank, iirc its something to do with that, when u get low the gauge is reading the main tank and its crossfed with the aux??? am not sure but i think its common to all valvers, mine does it a bit, last 1/4 lasts five seconds then light flickering time for 50 miles!

    Well thats that problem sorted out!lol
    have to find something new to worry about now

    valvers hav 2 tanks wen the light comes on it pumps fuel from the aux tank into the main tank an the guage goes up agen
    wen u can here the aux pump runnin dry u kno uve got no fuel left lol

    my mates does the same when he boots it the light comes on...but when brake and stop it goes back up

    rsi's also have an aux tank. my valver also had the problem mentioned above, but my rsi doesn't.

    My clio 16v is useless. I'll have a full tank and after a few little blasts it'll be at half a tank, then the next day it'll be a little bit more. then when it gets to quater it go's right down. Never gives a clear reading!
