okay so I'm going to weigh in with my twopenneth worth 
For what it's worth I certainly wouldn't attack anyone who disagrees with me so I agree the bloke who started on skip123 is a major dickhead however her achievements, with or without technology etc, are phenomenal and I defy anyone on here to spend a night let alone 70 odd alone in the middle of the southern and altantic oceans so fair play to her IMO she has muchos cojones and deserves all the plaudits IMO

Her life was never at risk snakelady. Her boat was unsinkable and she had every safety measure known to man plus a massive back up team in planes and boats around her.
Each to their own snakelady. Personally i dont think shes done anything i couldnt do given a rich father, lots of sponsorship and some sailing lessons.

agree with ya both in a way...yeah its a big thing thats shes done....but there is a lot of other people that do bigger things evry day of their lives and get no credit for it..
