Valver Nearly Fixed!

Going to be an expensive month - took the valver to the docs today to get its 2nd gearbox fitted - a reconditioned one from Renault this time so shouldnt have the same problems as I had with the 2nd hand one which went bang after 4 months. Its been off the road for 2 and half weeks and started 1st time, cant wait to get it back and take it for a long hard blast!

£570 for the g/box
£375 for the labour
£??? for its MOT which was due end of April
£96 for 6 months tax

Im only a student, just gonna hope nothing else goes wrong.....for a few months at least!!

how much for a gearbox, could have got your old one refurbed for the price of that and still had enough money to buy lots of other goodies too!!! It ain't exactly hard to fit a valver gearbox!!!!
