it was a real fiddley job
started at 1.30 finished at 4
the 1st hour was just removing the 4 bolts for some protector thingy maybe oil ?
then undid the 3 big bolts on starter no prob
the 2x8mm nuts on the back took ages but then realized the other bolts holding the starter bracket to the engine had not been replaced so i managed to remove the starter+bracket still together(i will replace the bolts)
was fiddley getting it out 5-10 mins
then fixed the bracket to new starter motor and fiddled with it for 5 mins gettin it back in
bolted everything back on in about 15-20 mins
jobs a good en
glad i didnt have to remove downpipe it was wet n rainy

gonna have a brew now then go for a drive knowing i can stop where i like again (ill still take the hammer tho just in case)

thanks to case for supplying me with a decent starter
