    There is a company about somewhere that developed an induction kti for the VTS, and they found that the ideal length, for max torque was around 900mm(or somethign like that)......they said they spent ages trying to find somewhere that far away, so yes it does make a difference.

    Also if you gradually reduce the diameter of the feed pipe to just before teh TB and then suddenly enlarge it it increases the velosity of the air being fed inot the TB, and pressure
