    rev counter not working

    works when u start up, then dies. then maybe after a 15min drive starts working again for a bit, then dies again. any ideas??? its doing my head. in.

    mines the same, but its working now, i think it was the cold weather.

    When it dies, push down firmly on the dial centre (black cap on the needle) and hold the pressure, does it start working as soon as you do that?

    dont know, will have to try it. but its been doing this for a year good or bad weather.

    Rev counter is faulty, needs replacing, common fault.

    As Mat said.

    Mine played up, bought a new rev counter and its been ok so new one is still sat in box lol

    i had the same problem....anoyin as fooook aint it! lol

    i got hold of a 2nd hand 16v rev counter, tuk all the dials apart and just swapped the motors over on the back......problem sorted :D
