    sounds nice when u speak to the guy but..... as king said he didnt know its due for a cam belt, needs a major service few other bits but cant remember! hes dad done the cam changes and is NOT a mechanic also didnt know if the timing had been done on changes! body is mint though, but too overpriced in theroy it would be £5500 with work done! cheers for keeping a eye out though mate! :D going to look at pauls 0317 tonight il let u all know how i get on

    Says it has just had a cambelt change.
    And you don't need to time it up after a change cos there is only one correct place for it.
    I'm not a mechanic but do my own work and currently have Daz's engine out!

    Sounds good to me.

    cam was done at 55k so itl need another soonish... if it was at 4k maybe interested but not at4.5k

    Why don't you make him an offer for 3.5k, then you can get the work done with the money you've saved, might be worth a try? I got £500 off mine cos I picked at little things and he threw in a load of spares on top of that and a full MOT. Depends how quick he wants rid

    iv just bid on 0279 on ebay looks nice guys away till 11th though so cant call him! new g/box clutch ect and going to look at infinicars 0317 tonight.... the guy wont take anything less than £4.200 i asked him
