Psp on a plane?

Anyone know if its ok to use? I remember seeing a guy on the plane to greece playing on a psp but im not sure if your actually aloud to Ive read on the net that some airlines are ok and some arnt

Ive spent the afternoon putting shit loads of music on it and also put the next 2 episodes of prison break on it, oh and an episode of faulty towers (the one with the germans) classic

I go on hold tomorrow to majorca for a week

AFAIK, i think you should be ok. i flew back from spain a few weeks ago and saw someone right at the back of the plane watching a portable dvd player.

i think the only thing they have issues with is if it emits any kind of signal. so things like mp3 players, hand held consoles (not being online) portable dvd players should be fine.

for obv reasons they dont let you use it on landing and take off, but once the seatbelt sign is off u should be good to go.

Well, ive been googleing away and it seems people say yeah its ok and people say no its not Its all about wifi interfiering or somet. But i just wont turn it on i guess lol. And even if i did leave it on it doesnt scan randomly unless i tell it to, does it?

yeah its all about it interfering with certain systems (the radar i believe is one of them :D )

as long as your just watching a film or listening to music or playing a game it should be ok, basically dont ask it to do anything else. lol

yeah u'll be fine mate, rules are wifi off, i flew 24 hours from oz wit mine no worries! after all the posh t**t businessmen can use their wifi enabled centrino laptops so fingers at the ready!
