Never rains but it pours - Starter problems

Last week I was due to take the Hybrid for a respray by williams_jnrs old man but the clutch cable snapped. Managed to get that fixed and rearranged the respray for this weekend but now my bloody stater has packed in.

Brand new fully charged battery, try to turn it over and nothing happens.

I have tried banging the starter with a hammer and still nothing.

Anything else I can do as a temporary fix so I can at least get it resprayed this week then worry about changing it.

Main thing is I am off to centre parcs friday at 9am and need to drive the car to birmingham tomorrow afternoon and drop it off for a week.

I really really dont want to have to put Graham off again as Im sure he will be mighty pissed off....quite rightly too

    Any ideas guys?
