    mmmm stnd gearshift

Just had my knackered quickshift whipped off today and gone back to stnd and I've got to say I like it! Better height for the stick and the changes seems less notchy not gonna miss it too much I don't think....

u can change quicker with a standard lever than a B&M

Do what i did in teh RSi, chop the top 3" of the stick off with an angle grinder, makes it that bt lower, esp in bucket seats

i was contemplating quickshift, but not worth it i take it?

Clios have a fairly short throw on the box anyway imo

the bb tuning quickshift is better as it is longer like the standard one.

I had a go in Sam's (downhiller01) car which has a quickshift and that feels OK. I made my own for my 106 I might make one for the clio they work but look shit.

The idea is to have the gearlever as close to the steering wheel as possible, a la touring car, rally car, and just about any other competition car
