Superchip + ECU

[Rudders16v]

there's a Williams ECU for sale which has been fitted with a Superchip, are these all the same for all the Williams' or do you need to check the numbers to make sure they're compatible? Cheers

Wouldnt bother unless you know the person and know what your getting. Anyone can say it has a super chip in it.

Not one of your favourite retail outlets KS i know! But sometimes you can pick up a bargain, can i check these numbers anyhow to check if it has had a chip fitted?? I've already asked the bloke if he's got any receipts etc for it but awaiting his reply

My old Willy 3 came with a Superchip already installed . Nick Hill then put one of his chips in and the car was so much better throughout the rev range.

To be honest I have spoke to 1 or 2 people who have had bad experiences with their Superchips . Maybe they are better these days though as this was a few years ago?
