Hi Ian,

It was at the main dealer of Suttons Garage in Tarleton near Preston. Paul was the chap in the workshop who did the work. It had a major service while it was in and, along with an MOT and...

MOT completed this week - pass with no advisories. I also treated it to a full major service at a Renault dealer (all fluids and cambelt etc...).
Need to use it a little more this year!

This car is still alive and kicking with me and is used very infrequently (think I've covered just over 700 miles in the last 13 years... :shock: )

Good to see work progressing. Would be great to see it again once it's complete :smile:

Agreed - prices of good condition cars are steadily rising and I think your budget is realistic. Don't be a afraid to hold out for the right car (there are still some coming out of the woodwork), but...

Went out for a drive this afternoon and after about 15 miles, the car was stalling when the revs dropped to about 10,000 RPM.
I traced this to a loose connection of the grey wiring loom connector on...
