its a pretty easy place to put it, loads of room and sits right in the bumper opening.

leakdown test, it will tell you if its the inlet or ex valves which are leaking....if its the valves at all.
ARP are a great off the shelf upgrade, not the ultimate, but better than stock and priced well.

I've just finished a new port profile that allows the 32mm willy valves to flow higher at sub 0.34" lift ranges than the 33.5mm...
oh yes...you can skim them ALOT lol, you just need to compensate the timing.
Just find a company that has chemical cleaning such as carbostrip, it eats carbon so you can just hot wash/rinse it...

Piston rings usually have an 'up' marker or 'top' marker located next to the ring gap. Sometimes is a very lightly lazer engraved letter etc.
Junior timer, not power timer as IIRC the squeeze clip has no space to operate.

Plug reading is only relevant to the last few firing events that occured, and i assume in this situation, those plugs came out of a car that idled last.
its no biggie, i just check and true them up everytime.
alot of the pulleys come in and dont spin true so need secondary machining.

yea, i've still got a 100bhp setup on a 1982 mk1 xr2, and thats got the old crossflow in it.
Its pretty hit and miss and depends how much time you spend setting it up and how sophisticated your...
