Any idea's, I have a really strong smell of oil on startup, it's fine when warmed up, except when driven hard. Also, the exhaust has suddenly got a lot louder, any idea's?

Some other small points to make you aware of.

A guy off here came to have a look on Friday, and noticed a couple of issues I didn't know of...

Sills are rusting, and there is a little play in...

S1 with a 16v conversion for me too... Hate the wheels, and ride height on the S2's myself...

Get some billies on there and some eiback springs, should really sort out the handling...

It is glass, it has been cleaned out since then tho... Heated rear window shattered one morning on the way to work. Luckily had tints to keep it in place. Photo's were taken the day the window was...

Subframe is weak and has a rust hole, and the hole i'm not too sure where, it was a friend who looked it over for me rather than spending out for an MOT. I think it was towards the back.

The GSi's have real trouble getting any power down, my mate has a mint one with around 240bhp at the fly, and my valver can beat it up to about 60-70... just coz of traction... my valver is bog...

Loving the car mate... think that splitter suits it.

Down our local "private road" there was a guy with a 1.4 Corsa, tuned a bit but with a 1.1 'box on it... Used to beat most fwd cars down there...

Yep I'm also liking the splitter... I'd keep that, but back to Willy Wheels, but keep it slightly lower at the back... that ruins a willy slightly for me...

Nice motor, I'd say you'd get £2500+

The handling can be quickly sorted with some uprated shocks, and some stiffer ARB's... Good car, and looking very clean..

To be fair, the Lorry driver can't say sorry... It's admitting liability, if your a prof. driver the last thing your company wants is you admitting liability at the time...

But IMO he should be...
