u mean f7r fella? its not standard and its peak power not rev limit
i have one fitted to mine and it was used for this reason. allowed mine to peak at 7100
ive just noticed you hav no top engine mounts! how are you supporting it?
that cage, infact the whole car is pure sex :droool:
theres alot of feedback saying "wrong chip" or "chip didnt work" all the positives relates to delivery time. theres none saying the chip works well. 8k will throw a rod in no time without arp bolts
awesome car to drive, handles well at speed, has monster torque.. but feels alot quicker than it actually is :?
the clip was taken on my camera phone so the quality isnt the greatest, you get the...
how many mm are on the tyres?
afetr march 2001 road tax is governed by the emmisions
its a nice looking bit of kit imo, would look the bollox decked with a 3" tailpipe 8)

thats a good point. im going to try it with the current map tho and see how i do, i can always have it ajusted after if needed. do you supply longer trumpets for bike carbs/bodies?
na £80 covers ajusting and rejetting. im currently running a remappable ecu chip from chipwizards, the ignition advance has been ajusted to suit headwork, s/s manfold, piper cams and verniers. i...
Really...they must have been busy in the last 5 months since i spoke to Steve there about it.
Where are they? Ive not seen any...have you? surely out of this "quite a few" there would be at least...
:goodposting:
'cos he kept the std rad. not only is that going to up the intake temp, but you physically cant get a desired intake length...this WILL kill power.
For the record Bogg Bro's have never done one on...
I think my other concern is petrol consumption  LoL [/quote]
befriend someone with a company fuel card, or u can spend on mine for a small fee
i spoke to prima and...
g3's ment for removing light scratches, if theres no scratch there then i wouldnt bother using it! we sell something at work called 'dimondbrite' its a permenant polish which fuses to your paintwork...
u'll need patience and some spare nuckle skin :P
your understanding is correct. altho fitting carbs to a efi model may make it run richer and that could fail the pre determined mot emissions regs. the other thing i cant get my head around is to...
its the easiest not best
if that doesnt work take the discs off and use a wire brush on a drill extension. u can also re surface the pads with a sanding block
imo for the cost and power increase its well worth doing. pound for pound theres not many mods where you can pick up as much power. obviously you will get more from throttle bodies but they cost...
sounds silly but how do you tighten the wheel nuts? if you tighten them clockwise/anti-clockwise and not opposites then the first wheel nut you tighten will be looser than the last and may allow them...
Yes, I sort of see what you are trying to say now, I think. It's just that previously you said the megane cylinder was giving less brake travel AND more force. I agree with you that swapping the...
i dont really want it to run lean. id quite like it running right but im aware that carb emmision rules were more relaxed than efi rules. also what do you do with the cat? surely pumping all that...
if you use the standard size calipers and a megane master cylinder then you will reduce the braking force due to a smaller difference in piston size. if you use the espace caliper and the williams...
im sourcing some espace calipers (53.9mm pistons as opposed to 48mm on valver and willy) and a megane coupe master cylinder(22.2mm as opposed to 20.6 on the willy). the espace uses the same discs and...
gti6 calipers have 57mm pistons. u'll have loads of pedal travel unless you use a bigger master cylinder
is it possible to set up twin carbs with ignition only managemet on a 1995 williams to run lean enough to pass an mot but still acheive maximum gains from fitting them?
for gti6 brakes to fit a 205 you need the disc pads carrier and caliper. they normally fit a 406 master cylinder aswel.
can i call a short shift kit as soon as you get them? u say GBP.. doe's that mean your posting them from abroad?
check the fuse and the fuel pump relay
