Why dont you just look at the springs for the white paint, Considering that the measuring of a 20 year old cars ride height by a tape measure to some arbitrary point will be hit and miss, if you want...
Well the ride height will still be wrong as the 185 tyres give the car a different ride height to the 195 tyres. Obviously you will need 185 tyres as well as springs if as you say, you want the car...
It is irrelevant what your opinion is on tyres. Just as mine is irrelevant. However, if we are talking about 'altering the car Renault built', which i think you will agree is the topic of...
But you have done the same by running 195 tyres. Cheap man's option. A williams is not a williams unless on 185 rubber. The difference is like light and day.
It looks like its running too much camber.
Thanks.
What is the torque setting for a nylock nut on the front driveshaft hub joint in Nm?
Yeah i get that all the time, its Poole near Derby not Poole in Dorset.
Anyone heard of or used G M Clements in alfreton?
What is the body shop called?
Arches done by the Alfereton body shop used by Coops etc please.
Lots of angles and details please.
The door bars prove that the Renault quoted figure of 990 for the Williams 2 is wrong. If the Williams 1 weight 990 then the Williams 2 must weigh 1010 kg.
What's with the Cl1o Williams show plates. I thought they were Williams Clios?
Right, you see that box section. The rear jacking box and the front box section on the sill. Get some wax or grease into it, as they rust from the inside on those places. Also the chassis rails. If...
Well its got the wrong coolant in it.
Pics of the rear jacking point, front chassis rails and front sill box section please.
Doubt you will find one for 3.5k with minimal rust. The jacking points and underside will have rust on most cars in that price range.
Can you pm me pics of the subframe please. Where is it collected from?
Just to be clear i need the whole assemble, so i dont have to bother with bearings.
Hello,
Hopefully someone can help me. I need the strut assembly including bearing and hub for the drivers side please. Bearing must be in working order as i need it for the mot.
Drivers side...
Ah ok, too far, thanks anyway.
Hello,
I am after a set of very good condition gold speedline wheels. Ideally i need a set that is of new wheels or of properly refurbished wheels. I would prefer them with tyres, but i would take...

Where did you get a kit for 450 pounds fitted? Link?[/quote]
From Yozzasport. Although Fred did cross thread my rear brake caliper mount, spill brake fluid over the front arch and dent the roof....
£1000 for only the parts to a Wilwood brake kit that i payed 450 pound fitted?
What other facts do i need?
Keep them sweet?
The problem with 90% of all car forums, is that there is always a little clique of maggots trying to brown nose some tuning jockey.
Oh and just to add, many of these places have to charge so much because there hobby is building ludicrously expensive project cars for show to amaze the next lot of punters or for use as competition...
Did you get an invoice/receipt? Does it show the part number?
Jamie markup is one thing..distribution channels are another. It's not uncommon to find huge price margins between various resellers....
That's because you went to a 'motorsport specialist'. They will just pluck figures out of the air.
