Had the 172 at just over 140 indicated whish was 130 on the GPS. Cant say I looked at the revs!!! Was fast enough for me in a Clio! Left Daves valver behind ;)

It was a new bonnet but turned out to have a bent hinge on it. So I put loads of pressure on and my mate pulled the cable and taht worked. It was a shagger anyway so didnt buy it!
That wont open with the catch, a new one has just been put on and now the guy cant open it. How do we get round it?!

Turned out to be a dodgy earth on the starter motor, must be linked to the full fuel system!!

Ok after refitting the engine we tried to start it this evening
basically with everything connected as it should the "fuel injection locking relay" starts clicking wildly along with the fuel pump...
mmm might give them a bell then, I'm up near Edinburgh so cant just pop round!
Dont sell them online :(
They cost about £90 new mate, i need a new one as well, got a pair of valver calipers waiting to go on the car but cant till I get a new carrier :(
