just scrap all the reno ecu and run megasquirt. controls fuel and spark nd can run off a tps. fairly cheap to, about £300 for a ready built unit

good man! if you need any help give us a shout as i run these on my golf. if you making you own inlet manifold, cut an original one down to the flange and weld you pipes onto it!

thanks fellas sorted this now. think it was a dirty TDC sensor.

ooh well, cleaned up the TDC sensor and some new plugs in, turn the key and she runs!! :D

just checked all the main earths, all seem fine. i get contenuety at the 3 pin plug on the coil so guessing thats all good? would a dirty TDC sensor stop it sparking?

went to start the car today, turns over but will not start. checked over a few things and ive got no spark, traced it back to the coil and got no spark direct from the coil either. checked for power...

bike carbs can work if you get them set up, but thats the same with any carbs. i run a set of zx9r (ninja) carbs on my mk2 golf, its a 2.0l 16v with 274/276 cams and mappable ignition, but otherwise...

sorted mine, stalks were 15 delivered and took 10 mins to swap! cheap win indeed! thanks for the advice fellas!

had the same problem today, try pushing down on the pump plug and wigglin it while someone pulls the stalk, mine turned out to be a bad connection to the pump. sorted now
