Makes me sick looking at the prices of them now... Grrr...

I'm not singling you out here but it's a cars for sale thread, so by rights the cars in this thread need to be for sale, and for something to be for sale it needs a price - if it states offers then...
Doesn't work like that!
It's a for sale thread it must state a price.
I want to see it on the 172 wheels!
When I sold mine I took the pioneer out and put this back in, couldn't believe how nice it sounded!
Thing is you could spend 100k on a nut bolt restoration and I'd still take this one over that - you can only be original once.
Anyone who has the cash and wants one to put in their collection without any fuss will buy it. The kind of person that doesn't even notice the price - it's just a set of numbers...
Slanderers of...
It that not part of the jack strap under the scuttle?
Thread is totally ruined now! :)
This "It's a 2" bollocks makes me laugh - there is simply not enough of them left to be picky these days - and it didn't matter years ago either
I'd rather being driving a nice 2 or 3 than waiting...
Full bore standing start should shake off any cobwebs....
Surely super glue would just soak through that?
I always hoped by the time you sold yours I would have a few quid to play with - sadly not :(
Have you thought of a full completion date yet? or roughly when you think it'll be?
I miss owning one but not my old one weirdly even though it was mint when I sold it. Only seen one or two to tempt me back in one but not enough to go through with it!
The seats aren't hard wearing?
Idiots - they always look brand new!
Terrible - I could have done that in ten minutes.
Man alive that's some wedge you're spending!
I think you should just finish it and sell it to me.
Yours must be the only one I would buy these days!
They not do them anymore? I think I paid £300 for a new one from Renault (mind you that was years ago now).
Nice of them to do that - I asked for pics of my arches being done and they ****ed me...
Lovely subframe ;)
Who's taking all the picures? the bodyshop?
Good, I like this thread :)
I might have to buy this off you when you've finished!!
I think I spent 2k on the doors and rear quarters on mine and I could have spent plenty more!
Please tell me they're coating the chassis after all this work!
Hat off to you sir you're doing it properly!
Did you not realise it was that bad before you dropped it off?
If I wasn't buying a house I would.
Practical classics can tell me they're worth 10p all day long - it's worth what someone will pay for it and with the amount of actual cars I would buy since I...
