well im not sure about that, but one of them was running 17" wheels so that prob had some thing to do with it but i still reckon the old williams would give them a good run for their money any day !!

i removed my box and had it done at CTS (gearboxman.co.uk) 340 for a full overhaual after mine was scraping in every gear, i sent the box down from scotland and shipped it back for 60, CTS aranged...

my standard williams 2 has smoked 172s on a few occations but it was close, i have also been beaten once by a 172 but i messed up the change to 3rd :roll: if i hadent then i reckon i would have...

CTS cost me approx 340 for full rebuild inc parts, they will send TNT to pick it up and deliver @ cost

got the gearbox back and refitted it, the black end cover o-ring was nipped and started to...

i had to end up buying new tie and track rods for each side because the track rod snapped off inside the tie rod, both sides, 160 quid from renualt :shock:

they were rusted to fook with no fltats left on them so i tried mole grips with no luck then a stilston wrench and they just sheared off much to my joy

i thought about drilling and tapping them...

as i have snapped all the bleed points inside my brake calipers i need to buy new front and back calipers (complete calipers) for my Williams

has any one got a set for sale ? STD or...

yup your prob right, everything else is new so why skrimp on the brakes, there goes another 300 quid plus :roll:
