Not sure whether happy or sad. Is the best road car I've ever owned, but an absolute pig to work on. When it was on the road I couldn't work out why I'd ever get rid of it, when I had to...
Thanks, it's looking that way; I've not had a single enquiry.
One final try:
£2750 No Offers
If it doesn't disappear by the end of the month I'm sticking snow tyres on it keeping it through winter.
Unfortunately I've found the tailgate carriers to be less than great on a Williams. The bike sits high enough it ruins the air flow over the top and because the car is narrow the bikes stick out on...
Thanks, hopefully someone will - if I end up keeping it I'll be fitting a towbar for my mountain bike and something tells me drilling holes in the car wont do anything for its long term value
Before I go through the hassle of sticking it on autotrader, ebay, etc. my lowest price is £3k. The mileage is now up to around 83,700
I too had a GTi-6 for a while. IMHO if you cover more motorway miles then a GTi-6 is a better car than a Williams. If you cover more A/backroad miles then the Williams is the better car. The Clio...
New tyres are fitted and went down to York and back without issue 8) even averaged 36mpg :D Also put £20 of the most expensive pump fuel I've ever purchased into it: £1.399 a litre for SUL ...
It is booked in for a new set of Michelin Pilot Exalto PE2 tyres on Saturday morning for its jaunt down to York :D

Sorry the pictures are not of great quality - twilight was setting in and my cheapo camera wasn't overly happy with the light.

I'll stick pictures up later, but for the moment here is the summary:

12 Months MOT (done...
Welcome to the northern side of the border when the time comes Jamie. Hopefully I sent you a PM yesterday - internet currently broke so using my mobile as an internet device
If it is any consolation I paid considerably more - bodyshop went to weld the new arch and found the inner was too rusty. I'm trying to forget the cost of replacing both inner arches, outer arches...
They all offer different levels of cover - my AA cover is a lot more than £35
Having owned RX-7s for many years I have spent more time on recovery trucks than I dare keep track of. AA...
Thanks :) No return I can cope with, it's the throwing money away thing I am trying to avoid
Before I give the bodyshop the OK to relieve me of the better part of £2k figured I'd get a second opinion from the experts  so what do you think I will actually get for the car if I go ahead...
IMHO a factory scooby is not a drivers car. Fairly quick in a straight line and has loads of grip. If you want to drive quickly in all weather conditions, without having to do anything, then they...
Driving experience = 10/10
Power = Ideal for a road car, doesn't need any more. From a roll it pretty much stays with my standard scooby. Renault were conservative with the 150bhp, or the ones...
It's closer to £55 if you can get one. I've been waiting about 3 weeks now for Renault to make one for me.
Thanks, I'll just ignore it until I get home next week. Looks like an expensive & time consuming couple of weeks ahead for the Clio before MOT time (front shocks, downpipe, this, o/s hub...).
Am currently a couple of hundred miles from home (so no tools or ramps) and my clutch/gearbox (Williams) has suddenly started making noise:
When in gear (normally, but not always) it sounds like...
What I did to get mine off:
Remove downpipe
Take an angle grinder to remove the top half of the lambda sensor
Put a deep 22mm socket over the rest of the sensor
Attach a torque wrench to this...
How much is a new d/p?
I was having the same problem last night. Between football matches I'm off out to remove the d/p so I can fight with it without losing skin on other sharp bits of car...
