Refurbed alternators use crap regulators, new Valeo will help lots
Also,...
I've seen endless problems with reconditioned alternators. the regulators they use are all crap. Burpspeed racecar went through 5 alternators in the first half of their first season before buying a...

horrid horrid horrid engine. bad terrible nasty horrid
it's been done into 205s (seeing as it's a peugeot engine) never seen it attempted into a clio though. It would be tight to say the least!!
IMO the CR difference wouldn't be worth the work, and the difference in valve pocket sizes may cause issues
Fitted a couple of these now. Very well thought out kits
yes. but it was also an IDE and an F4R. They've got the data mixed up between engines
exactly my point. It's wrong.
it didn't use an F7R from 99ish, they'd switched to the IDE and the F4R by then. There's loads of data that's mixed up between the 3 engines. Autodata tells lies

your wiring isn't standard
post 7 ;)
there are 2 different ones as renault updated the part and the loom. The plug is different so you can't mix and match. That's all.
Battery needs replacing
Buy my 850 T5 and fix it up for the MOT. I've replaced it so it's got to go now
so.......battery replaced yet? It's probably flooded at the moment so stick some plugs in it
They're Vmaxx :)
not forgetting to open the throttle again are you? ;)
just change the battery first
got one.....
plugs out gives no compression, so no resistance, so very low cranking amps in demand.
flames out the trumpets is called stand-off, which is unused fuel being spat back out when it ignites at an...
if it cranks fine with no plugs in but not when it's got compression, the starter is weak. This could be down to being a cooked starter, or the battery being old and having a low output, could even...
rings swap over no issue as long as they don't break.
megane head doesn't use a distributor at all
