phoned them today and suprise suprise they had sent me the wrong ones :evil: .phoned renault in inverness and they sorted mr a set of genuine ones for £80 delivered. :D hopefully i will be able to...

they were supposedly 54mm ones i got but ive measured them and there only 52mm.i will phone them tomorrow and give them what for.

well i went to fit new shocks that i got through eurocar parts tonight,got evrything apart and put the new shocks back together,went to fit them and low and behold they wouldnt fit,where the bolts go...

yeah well the guy was a bit off a cock about the springs so he wasnt to happy when i told him he'd missed the shocks were goosed and i gave him the finger and went on my way. :lol:

well my new springs arrived today and got them fitted in 30mins. :D
but the mot centre failed to notice that both my front shocks were dead aswell :evil: :evil:

i asked them to get me a price on the tappets.nice young lady phones me back and says"weve done you a realy good price on these mr todd.there only £25 each plus the vat"well once i finally figured...

i supplied the hydraulic lifters but the garage was semples of inverary.was really pleased with the customer service and the overall work done on the car. :D

a whopping total of £470 and that was all in. :o
i was quoted 8hours for the timing belt by one of my local garages so im very happy with the price i got at mr renault. :D

well ive just picked the williams up from the renault garage after getting a little bit of work done.ive just had new hydraulic lifters,timing belt kit,rocker cover gasket,2 end caps and 2 crank...

need a spark plug cover and the clips as mine has been cooked by my manifold after it fell off :rant:

well ive been to 4 local garages now and they all seem to be telling me different things.1 said they need special tools,1 said 7 hours to do the cam belt,1 said its an engine out job.im no mechanic...
