R19 shaft should do it.
What about the fuel reg then?? If no fuel is flowing back down the return something can't be right..
Borrow Johns ECU.
Hey mate!
What have you tried so far then?
Doubt it's the CV joints like you say..
Is it a patterned vibration or a judder?
Any play in the wheel when jacked up?
If that's the problem then LOL!
His current setup is:
Feed, connected to the left inlet (nearest the cam cover)
Return, right inlet battery side.
Lol, we tried em both ways, which is the return any way? The furthest right?
went to have a look at this today..
He says he has a ph1 ECU, the orange light is on the right hand side.
What does the immobiliser stop, spark or the pump? There is a spark @ the HT lead, the...
never worked out what the white plug did, never affected anything and all gauges were fine!
Hi mate, in the end it all just plugged in fine, there are some variations in the wiring but assumed these were the oil clocks etc.
The main difference on the loom I found was the fuel pump wire,...

My old one, very quick as some of you will know. The issues with it are mainly cosmetic but a few mechanical niggles.
Also has the...

thats the one off my low milage megane lump, yours if you want it.
The alloys is pretty soft plus it's completely stripped so can it not just be tapped straight away?
Do all m12 bolts come in a 1.75mm pitch?
Hi, basically my mate got his gearbox helicoiled the other day where the gearbox mount stripped the threads. and while putting the bolt on today (and then taking it off to check it was ok) the...
Hi chaps, basically the 3 bolts that go through the triangular bit to the gearbox, 1 of the bolts has snapped in the box and the other has a crappy thread! Is it possible to helicoil this or get...
Tracking? Bearings?
Hi, thinking of buying a cheap mk1 to mess about with off a mate. However he said that he left it for a week and when he charged the battery up it wouldn't start and says it's the immobiliser. It's...
sweeet :D
Hi there, yes I sorted mine with a spare driveshaft I had. White valver it's very easy to change the driveshaft, you'll manage :)
Allan, glad that sorted it, the wobble as wiki mentioned is the...
mine did this the other day too.
Get to a fastener factors and get 1cm longer bolts. The holes go quite deep.
edit "Partial seizure causes a strange "pattering" sensation through the suspension. It is caused by the joint overheating, which in turn is usually caused by the outer joint gaiter having split,...

Ok discovered this today. The question is why is that manifold heatshield so far back that it's touching the gaiter? I actually noticed...
wheel bearings aren't very old (i'll check for play tomoz) and there was no play in the CV joints when I put them in a month a go.
cheers mate, just seeing if we can get some extra ideas before tomorrow :D
Recently i've developed a bad wobble rather than vibration when the engine is under load. It seems to be worse at lower RPM in a higher gear when the engine has to work hardest.
If i'm on the...
Hi, had the car jacked up today and noticed that both wheels were not spinning very freely at all, and at certain points becoming harder than others (discs?)
Anyway I'm gona try and free them a...
Hi, my cars electrics are annoying me lately.
When the car is off the oil light, water temp light and handbrake light are all remain partially illuminated. Recently the petrol and water gauge...
Yeah just need the CTS.
Cleaned all the earths and waterproofed them and a new lambda.
Just an update folks, when mines up to temp, if I disconnect the CTS it's perfect, so I can only assume it was both the lambda as the CTS causing these issues!
hey mate, looks dodgy that. If it's not lambda check for an airleak somewhere.
if you don't have the tools try your local motor factor or garage, i got my fronts and rears made up for about £10.. All they needed were measurements and the fittings!
The hardest part is getting...
my mate has a R5 van with a tuned willy lump in, it's quality.
