Hello all
Some of you know this car, I'm advertising this on behalf of my brother in law who bought it off me last year, please find full spec below:
Williams 1 #0184
95,000 miles (approx)...
Yes mate to Lou’s brother on strict conditions that I can buy it back when he sells it. He’s also put me as a named driver so I can take it for a blast round the TT course whenever I’m over there J
Hi Simon
I cannot find any trace of your ownership in my records, are you sure you owned my car? It was bought new by Martin Domleo in Jan 1994 who owned the car for 10 years and used it for various...
All is good thanks, Williams has been off the road for a while now lost all interest a while ago but hoping to get it on the road soon and get back into the scene, missing all these meets and track...
Oh and Leigh-anne, loving your avatar too ;-)
Wow, good work guys, haven't been on here for ages and log in to find a brand new forum! Looking good!
Well spotted!
How lucky was the driver! If the impact was further up and not the rear he/she would have been seriously injured there. Hope all involved are ok. Williams really aren't good in crashes
Same thing has happened with cold fusion sadly
I have seen talkingfish's Williams in the flesh, it is very nice indeed! Carole Annes is also one of the best I have seen from this club.
What's happened to this place?? 2live with a Mk2
Matt, do you have a rear bumper and how much mate?
Me too
It's not difficult to be ultra fussy with a 17 year old car though, even 0001 has it's flaws tbh
The 200 Cup is 1200kg so around this at a guess
LOL, and Clio's aren't gay?
I think it looks ridiculous, and £25k?! I'd rather spend that kind of money on an Elise, a proper sports car. Anyway, doesn't matter what I think, if Renault end up...
Looks rubbish imo, too big and heavy. They should do a Twingo Williams instead which are a similar size and weight to the original Williams
What's wrong with it Dan?
Why was the rev limit set so low as standard? My limiter is set at 7200rpm with a Hillpower chip which is spot on imo...
Gripper do one, not cheap though
Concours examples will always be worth a premium imo as they are sought after by enthusiasts. The 'lesser' ones I agree are worth bugger all at the moment. I think talkingfish will easily get 6k for...
Now I feel old :o
I'd say it's worth more than that, it's one of the best examples in the UK.
32 mate
Snowman, I thought this too as it says that on the website, but if you ring them up they will insure a Williams as a classic car. Loads of places won't now though, believe me, I was trying for most...
Cheers guys, just tried Peter Best and got insurance now. £290 for the year which is fantastic! I was getting daft quotes before, can't believe how much insurance has gone up this year... :?
Sorry for another insurance question, but what classic insurance are you all with? All the usual ones I've tried are saying the car has to be 21+ years old?
Ask Cliorod on here
SOLD
Let me know how much they charge you for all this mate, mine's going into Birchdown for a cambelt change when it's back on the road in July...
