i had this prob, turned out to be my TCS ( temp control sensor ) but my revs were more 2000 - 2500rpm :shock:
u think that will b the problem with her cutting out when warm? or is that more earths/alternator?

ive just replaced the TCS and refilled the coolant/water... do u think its maybe the TCS causing this? i didnt plug the white 'unplugged' plug into the green reciever on the front of the engine until...
oh, and whats the expansion tank? and whatll happen wen it blows? :?
think it might b the thermostat? changed the TCS and it idles a bit lumpy b4 it cuts out... idles fine with the old 1, just wanna try and isolate the prob b4 i decide to spend money and get new iscv...

mines the same as urs atm, except mines cuts out after 5mins of heating up... i replaced the TCS and since then its idling funny, 2500, to 1150 to 900, and back and forth... idled fine b4 i changed...

got the part, seems theres 2 variations for some reason... got it fitted but the engine seems to hunt a little, sat at 2k for a few mins then died down to 1.2k... seems to hunt from 1.2 - 1.1, but...

appreciated, work nights atm, and only sleep maybe 4 hrs... exciting life etc keeps me sooooo active i just cant sleep :?
whats the best way to do it? do i just clean the points with a wire brush or sand paper? and do i do it to the battery also and wherever the earths come from?

Same old prblem a few ppl have had previously. been told by a friend to clean the earth points/terminals and battery terminals etc... car runs fine after a jump then eventually cuts out and doesnt...

mines has just done the same... was fine for about a mile, then about to turn onto a main road and it cut out, managed to get it started again and park it round the corner in a wee street but it on...
