Just seen that you had them replaced with new. Can you pinpoint where abouts it's coming from roughly? Is it cam belt related?

Is it that whistling noise? Very high pitched?

If it's still there without the belt on then it cancels out a lot of stuff

What engine is it? Could be cambelt idler if it's a 714.

You pulled the cam cover off and it was dry?

If I were you I'd try the crank sensor first. Just remove it and check the condition of the contact. You could measure the resistance through it should be...

That test only shows if one lead is working at a time though. If it was the case that only one or two leads were down, it would splutter and missfire

If it's turning over and theres a smell of fuel then the injectors must be opening. Sounds like the plugs arnt firing.

All ignition systems ok?

Get it to fault again and check the coils not...

2 sets of door locks as the internals are made of stilton

And how come your injectors are in the head as per OE but the other set up has them in the manifold?

Is it just user preference? I see your manifold has the blanks where you could put them?

Where does your crankcase breather go to after the catch tank? There's another pipe coming off it. Or is it another breather off the engine ?

That's looks quality. Where abouts is this place I'm looking for a reputable bodyshop to do mine soon. Want somewhere with clio experience though

Wait until coolant is cold, remove cap

Should be ok just removing old sensor plug and screwing new one in but you will have to be quick. Coolant will run out when you remove it so just be ready...
