Nice link, walter300. What I would give to have one of those lovely A110, less than $35k GBP, I guess. Sadly, there's a better chance of me owning an A110 than keeping my Clio. Under the classic car...
@Smokey
If only Mr <insert Premier League footballer name> was a williamclio member, I heard they can be quite passionate and silly with their money. A tropical Williams could easily get lost...
Just realised I may have mis-represented the condition of on my car in the photo. The photo is a many years old, I was using it to show the white fog lamps. The car is a lot worse for wear nowadays....
White fog lamps. Not quite the exact specs as any UK clios, but closest to UK's phase 2 clios.

Fitting on steel wheels from elsewhere, and keeping the gold rims. Still on factory paint but the edges have seen some pavement scrapes. Is the inlet & exhaust manifold unique to clio williams?
Sad news. My tropical clio williams is headed for the scrappers. As, for reasons too complex to explain, it would cost me more 30,000 GBP to keep the car beyond end Feb. I am thinking of stripping...
Just to close off this thread. My boy sent in his application few weeks ago.
So, with a bit of luck, I might even be able to attend a williamsclio club meet or 2. Just look for the newly-poor old...
Just ordered from GSF. About 18GBP each after less VAT. Airmail postage cost me 25GBP. Hope they fit and work.
Thanks all, this forum makes owning the only tropical clio williams a little easier.
Thanks Coops. That's a huge price difference. I could spend the money on air courier with that savings.
Any web link as to where I can get the motorfactor ones or any other aftermarket bearings.
Thanks. I will phone Paul on Monday and see where I go from there.
BTW, is website price of 47.38 GBP for 1 wheel bearing?
Genuine or aftermarket - I will say whichever fastest to get to me, as I have to send the clio for it's annual inspection few weeks time.
The shipping cost will be a killer with the discs...
Need rear wheel bearings. Both left and right. I hope you have them.
Can you airmail them in a bubble envelope? To Singapore.
Let me know the total cost via PM and I will paypal you.
Thanks....
Thanks. We have done a fair bit of internet research as well (eg: guardian, times & CUG). Any additional data is always helpful.
I am hoping to get some "on the grounds" view from you locals. We...
Appreciate some views or help about my boy's uni application.
He's gotten these A-levels results: General Paper:A, Physics:A, Chemistry:A, Maths:B & Economics:D. We are are planning to apply for...
BTW, does 110 gbp include cleaning the manifold prior to the coating? I had mine sandblasted first.
If sandblasting is included in the price, I can see a queue forming up behind you already :-)

Not quite back. Just the annual hassle of subscription renewal with northy.
Just a quick hello. My tropical Williams is still mostly parked up in the basement parking. Recently, replaced the radiator as it had become a rusty, leaky geyser. Other than that, the old girl still...
Hi,
My first post in years :-)
That's about what I paid for mine many years ago. I measured, with a thermocouple at the bonnet vent, only a few degrees temperature drop before and after the job....
What do you call the boss of a maternity clothes-making company, who also volunteers as a part-time forest firefighter?
Motherfrocking ash-hoer
How about the non-UK RHD Clio members? Those that I can remembered: Malta, Adelaide & Finland. Are they still regulars here?
Any other Clios escaped Blighty in the past 3 years?
I am still alive!
More importantly, so is my tropical Clio Williams. It must be about 3 years since I last wrung the car out. These days, like myself, it's been having a quiet retirement. It/we...
Hello from warm, sunny Singapore ! (Rub it in, I know :-)) Want to say that I am still alive, and more importantly, so is the Clio Williams. Just came back from it's fortnightly 20km exercise run. It...
I stuck some popsicle sticks into both ends of the metal pipe under the shelf. The popsicle sticks extend the reach of the pipe. Then using a few cable ties, fastened the sticks to the shelf. Making...
Bought August 1996 as daily drive.
Retired November 2008, with the occasional exercise runs.
Costing me heaps on tax/insurance but can't bear to part with it.
Someone got me to come here, almost...
Carry on inspector! Unwanted leaks are never good things.
Golly! Does it make "pappp... ppapp... pappp... whoosh!" noises?
Just googled. Happened in '07 and no one died.
For a bit more money, buy a jabulani ball and kick it at a goalkeeper.
... as I just found out that one of my favourite guitar licks from "Still Got the Blues" was ripped off a German band. The German band was awarded damages in 2008.
