Thinking of selling mine and only 25 m for Manchester.

The latest JC 5 box, as my Renault recon box, has the diff circlip deleted and a bolt in ring fitted in it's place so parts should be availabe from Renault. There is also someone on Ebay France...
Recently renewed my membership with Paypal to Northy but I have not got full site access.
Also renewal was originally set up to be automatic but this hasn't happened.

I think p4cks was meaning the pads. To change the discs is reasonably easy as long as your new discs come with new wheel bearings fitted as the old ones are part of the disc assembly.
Cheers Jon, I might take you up on that. How does it compare to a decent Williams and is your's standard?
I am now living in Barrowford so a quick spin over to Gisburn may be a good test.
Pete
It is a second car but the other car is a rather boring Honda Civic.
Decided to keep the Williams until summer, do some work to tidy it up ie fit new tailgate and drivers door, sort out the rear...
Mileage is 145,000 but somewhat irrelevant for a car of this age and as I said it's been well used as a daily driver. No recent pics at the moment.
I also forgot to say car is currently sorned with...
Thinking of selling my Williams 2.
The age of both the car and myself are starting to taketheir toll and I could do with something that is a bit younger and doesn’t needas much time and effort to...
I have done two cambelt changes on mine in the last 18 months. The first one failed with drastic consequences due to being over tightened using the deflection under a specified load between the cam...
Hi Rodders,
Heard about this through a mate who works at the petrol station. Apparently they came into work as normal last week an were only given a couple of hours to remove their tools and...
Don't think it was me, but the Mrs has been using it a bit recently, could have been her.
Yes Jon it was me. Daughter Lucy is living in Stacksteads at the moment, probably going round to her place up Acre Mill.
Pete
Did you get your car sorted Pete? Hope it's all back up and at em again now[/quote]
Yes Jon it's all sorted mechanically. Never realised what the consequences of overtightening the cam belt...
Hi Rod,
I certainly know the feeling having officially become a pensioner, 65 last March :) :)
Just in case you are worried where you have left your rally car, it seems to have been abandoned...
Is this fuel vapour device not fitted on original Williams 1. I assume your pic is of your car, Wobba.
Sorted, it goes to the control valve thingy behind the offside headlight. Part of the somewhat redundant fuel vapour canister arrangement.
The reason for this latest stripdown was a catastrophic cam...
As far as I know Jon it's the original manifold and I'm sure there was something connected here before I stripped it down.
Pete
I mean the small pipe highlighted, the larger pipe that goes to the air filter has just been disconnected to take the photo.
What should be connected to this pipe on inlet manifold.
I will have the bonnet. PM me your address & postcode and I will arrange a time for collection.
Pete
I am after a good bonnet and can collect.
Pete
Yes if it is straight and the mountings are not sheared off. Condition of paintwork is not important at the moment.
Haven't got your phone number, Jon, PM me.
Pete
Yes its in, went to look at it on Fri. The bumper is OK but bonnet has damage to front end. So bumper complete with fogs and virtually new headlamps secured.
Still need a bonnet if anyone has one.
...
What condition is the bonnet in. The one at SCB was fubared but tha front bumper is OK.
Pete
Cheers Jon, I haven't started to strip it yet but on quick check it's just the bonnet and front bumper that I need and Specialist Breakers in Accy are getting a blue valver in this week and have...
Photo of wheels refurbed with paint from above supplier
I used a place in Burnley called Autopaints Discount, they mix the aerosols there and then, water based product, both 449 and gold for wheels were a perfect match.
