clicking sounds like some sort of relay, i was stuck in a car park for 30mins at one point and it turned over after loads pissing about, defo think its immobiliser but will have a look at...

my mk1 williams imobiliser is playing up.

i unlock the car via the central locking key
put the imobiliser key in the slot
it does 1 long beep and 3 short beeps
the red light...

yeh pretty much, so if it was UK reg what would it value at?

so is anyone able to put a value on this?

probably the wrong area to ask this but i couldn't see a valuations area.

trust me I know how far 8.5 litres gets me, Ive put the same amount in each week since april and watch the miles go up on the counter. 8.5 usually gets me 50 miles I've lost at least 20% of my fuel...

ive noticed my miles per gallon reducing significantly recently.

I can normally for 8.5 litres of unleaded get upto 50 miles.

i put this in on Monday and have since done 15-20...

just looking around today and spotted an orange wire coming form the map sensor.

i assume that normally this would run towards the top corner and feed out behind the bulkhead??

for some reason...

diagnostics port is inside the car under the glove box :)

ive just gone through this dilema, i changed the following:

coil pack - £43
ht leads (magnecor) - £28 second hand
rotor arm & cap - £26

ordered down a new coil pack and set of magnecor leads.

fitted the leads whilst at work and car felt awesome on way home, almost didn bother switching out the coil pack but then...
