i agree about loosing heart if it is not a good one.

Mine was not too bad, but nigly problems meant it was never quite right, and am afraid my heart has turned to my new alfa.

i may be getting a willy drive shaft tommorrow, but cant be certain till i see it. if not, i will hop onto c16v and see if i can get the 10mm spacer.

well some one sent me a PM stating partco did them.

I rang, they clai they have one for 90 + VAT.

I will have a look tomorrow. Convinced it cant be the righ one. well i hope it is! May spare...

How big a wahser?

I get confused!...if it is a shorter shaft, how will it get through the hub sufficiently to get the hub nut on and tighten it?

Just tried them. None in stock. Offered a refurb of mine, but its snapped!

I think renault only at this stage. Or valver one with spacers? but where do I get the spacers from?...

It has snapped just before the outer cv joint. The shaft has snapped clean through.

The williams has been off the road for almost 2 months. I need a new drive shaft (n/s). ECP do not do them anymore. Renault will charge 207 +VAT!!!.

No one on here who is breaking...

I have read that I can use a valver one with a spacer.

Is this correct?

If so, where do I get the spacer...

hub nut spun easily so was preety sure that the drive shaft had snapped.

jacked it up and it has.

snapped clean just before CV boot!

anyone have a spare drive...

yes, there is a rumbling noise. This actually all started after a clutch change.

Since new wishbones have gone on it is more pronounced at lower speeds.

Has the wheel that I got from fab....made me realise that the colour of the other wheels is so wrong!

insurance/garage cannot find a new alloy.

the prima racing ones are the closest I could find, but 16 inch.

Anyone any ideas where I can source a new alloy (insurance will pay)
