Marks Hall Country Show
My Dad was organising a charity car show at the Marks Hall Country Show this weekend so I helped out by giving #295 a dust down and running her down there for the show. She still cleans up pretty well and doesn't look out of place amongst the other classic cars...

That looks like an Impreza Terzo in the background?
Cheers Ian

Nope, not a Terzo Ian, but fairly close. I think the strong sunlight plays tricks and makes the paint look lighter - it is actually an STI 6 Type-RA in WR blue. Proper flying machine: EJ25 engine and short ratio diff. 400bhp and ~400 lbs/ft. Only problem is that with the short ratios and lower revs of the EJ25 it tops out at not much over 100mph so isn't a great track car on anything much bigger than Lydden ;-)

Some very nice cars - your Williams is still my favorite though Steve :)

Ha. Pretty much Gaz. The show was on Sat and Sun so I just left my cars there overnight and that was a shot I took Sunday morning before anyone else turned up. There were 30-odd cars there each day I'd say. Nicest for me was an old Bristol 2-litre with bodywork by Zagato, one of 2 ever made apparently. Beautifully restored E-type and Elan+2 there on the Sunday as well.

I miss my M5 :( Not the fuel bills though tbh!
