Restoration Engine, Gearbox & Engine bay:
Engine, gearbox and front axle were expanded together.

All parts to be galvanized were blasted first. Then black passivated.
The front axle and the stabilizer were powdered black.

A known problem of the F7R engine has also just been eliminated.
The serration for the V-ribbed belt tensioner on the additional assembly carrier wears off over time.

The cast aluminum spline was milled off and teeth made in steel.
Then bolted to the carrier. The problem is now solved permanently.

It was still a Group N EPROM installed. Now the F7R turns up to 7400rpm and hangs a little better on the gas. The controller housing was also blasted and a new data adhesive was made. Of course with RSC logo.

Can you tell me what the finish is on the gearbox mounting bracket? I've been trying to get a finish exactly like that on mine but this is the 1st time I've seen that finish so I've had nothing to use as a reference

I don't know exactly what you mean about the finish of the gearbox bracket. It's a normal OEM part...

Restoration Underbody:
The whole body of this Clio Williams is very well preserved.
No serious rust spots or rust holes were found.
First, all attachments were removed from the underbody.

I mean the finish of how it looks now, is it a brand new part or did you recondition it?
The bracket on my car is a mess so I want to get it back to OEM finish, the circled part is what I mean

Ah... it's the OEM part, but sandblasted.

Aaahhh I thought it had been painted or something like that, I want that look on all of my parts but past experience tells me it's not a good idea to keep them in bare blasted metal as they don't last very long & look very tatty after a very short time :-k

Yes, the bare aluminum will oxidize again and change the color again.
Painting have disadvantages with such parts but also disadvantages. The paint will flake off during assembly.
Then I prefer to clean the bare aluminum from time to time if necessary.
This clio will not see any rain anyway...
