Wow I remember commenting on a thread about this car on a welding forum! You've way over took me now in regards to progress lol. I need to get myself some more tools and start doing mine again. I have 2 to restore now, although the new one I've bought will only be a mild restoration. Those guys are really good at what they do, about the only person I'd trust other than myself. P.s the photo of the naples front inner wing a few pages back is mine lol :p nice to see them getting the attention they deserve. I must start a thread up for my xeros :)

Haha yes after seeing yours on mig-welding i had to order those inner rear arches, i need to get out in the garage and get the clutch and flywheel off and mount engine to the stand, ive been so slack the stand hasnt been out of the box yet

Haha! They're good stamps those. Iirc they need a bit of modification to match valver/williams. Might not be a problem but I noticed they're slightly different. I've not touched mine since last year :(

So where the hell are you with this thread?
I'm too lazy to flick back lol:saycheese:

Cheers fab still stripping the engine down to its bare minimum then I can mountain to it on the stand and start cleaning painting and reassembling. Car gets painted in a few weeks so photos and videos will follow

Out of interest Graham, are they painting it in Cellullose or 2k?
I've not cheked into it yet, but assumed that the car was painted in cellulose when new, do you know?

Don't know tbh thought Base coats were water based and 2k lacquer not sure
