Hi there keep getting a high idle after harsh acceleration 1500 rpm resets if you switch ignition off and on again, I have replaced the following using genuine renault parts, idle control valve, coolant sensor, lamba sensor, speed sensor, inlet manifold gasket, map sensor many thanks Darren.
could be a slight leak in the inlet pipes somewhere? think I've seen this cause the issue's your experiencing..
Thanks for replying, checked inlet pipes for leaks deterioration etc all appear to be ok iv seen many threads on this but still can't get to the bottom of it lol
Sticky throttle cable? Just a random thought I had when I saw what you'd already replaced?
Hi there checked the throttle cable that's ok, The butterfly is also clean and moving freely
Hi, have you disconnected the battery, Had a similar fault years ago with idle faults, changed idle vale but fault was still there until I disconnected battery.
Rev counter regulator my w2 used to do that and I changed the Rev counter part on my clocks and it sorted it.
