ISCV problems

Is it a matter of buying a new one, or can mine be cleaned?

It seems to have real "hunting" issues after 1min or so of starting from cold. Lasts a good 5mins or so until the water gets up to the first mark on the dash.

If I try to drive before then, it stutters like made, like something is clogging the engine up.

whip it off, give it a good clean with carb cleaner/petrol/brake cleaner.

should sort problems!

if u look through it n all make sure u work that little shutter back and forth till it slides smoothly. shoving carb cleaner through without doing that can just move more dirt in the way!! :wink: little spray of WD n all before u slap it back on shud see it fine!

I've noticed it does it more when it's been raining

give it a clean neway n see how u go mate!

clean that, if it still does it, it might be your lambda sensor has gone, or at least the warm up coil inside it
