i have just bought some compomotive mo's in white! i have been looking at tyres and want a slightly stretched look tyre! I have found some 185-45-15's would these give a stretched look and are they safe??

and why are 185-55-15 more expensive??

if the pic works!! this is obviously i real severe case of being stretched and i dnt want them that stretched as i guess they could cause problems!

you want something like falken tyres, they have curved sidewalls like that

not sure bout the handling! its a big thing in the vw scene!! people stretch 215-35-?? over 9.5 wide rims!!! i seen a clio wiv it done slightly like the second pic!!!

You'll have to go narrower than a 185 for the stretched look. I had 185s on 8x13s lol. I'd go for about 155 or 165 /55R15

Toyo Proxes, ave had them twice on on different cars, and both times they've been the correct size if tyre, but ended up lookin a bit stretched

like already said best to go with less than a 185. thing is buying 175 or 165 in low profile will prob prove expensive.

in the end of the day you will just end up buggering the rim of the wheel. id go std on a clio. looks fine. most tyres have rim protecters on the rubber to stop things like this! :wink: :roll:
