can someone explain what is ment by a clio hybrid please
cliowise, a Hybrid usually means a lower model with a 2L F7R engine conversion
2 good things made into one brilliant thing
clio body
best renault engine - f7r
put together makes a hybrid :D
and then u can go the whole 9 yards and get the wide rack etc etc
The term hybird just means an improved spec, where major components arent standard.
A clio hybrid could be a 1.4 GTT.
It could be a RT shell with a 16v engine in it.
Or in most cases on this forum, it is a 16v shell with the 2.0L 16v F7R engine in them.
P.S ohh and its not meaning we all have hybrid turbo's in them! (we wish!) :P

yeah in my case, it's an rsi shell with 16v engine
i'd say the true hybrid is a 16v clio shell with a WILLIAMS F7R in it.
but other people wud disagree!
am gonna put a megane bottom end on my engine this summer, i wont class it as a hybrid
nah thats the common hybrid coops
i would say a mk1 clio 16v with a clio v6 in the back is the ultimate hybrid :D
by your reconning im glad i have a PROPER hybrid then!
same difference tho using the meggy btm end!
told u people wud disagree!
best hybrid would be clio mk1 with two f7r turbo,s and four wheel drive
or the 2.5 v6 twin turbo from alpine renault in the boot thru the rear wheels!
