Faulty Driveshaft Symptoms

Anyone here had a driveshaft fail on them?

If so what were the symptoms of the shaft going kaputski? i.e any noises or handling sympyoms.

My Cv joint went, got a vibration comming and going around 70-80ish

There was latertal play in the joint too

:? theres always lateral movement in the joint, they're telescopic

had one go before on my RT and got a loud metalic clunking noise when turning on full lock (parking etc).
